VEI CONSULTANTS is an Alaskan civil engineering and land surveying corporation offering services in civil and environmental engineering, design, materials investigation, construction inspection, land surveying, planning, project management and construction administration.
VEI has provided civil engineering services in Alaska since 1981.
Services range from feasibility studies and conceptual design to final design and construction administration. Our staff provides ancillary services such as permitting, replatting, and public involvement programs, in order to shepherd a project through completion.
Projects have included a variety of infrastructures such as gravel roads, paved arterial highways, residential streets, curb and gutter, sidewalks, bike paths, multi-use trails, transit turnouts, park facilities, parking lots, and railroad spurs. We have also performed engineering for water treatment and distribution systems, and sewage collection, treatment and disposal systems. These projects have ranged in size from multi-million dollar installations to small community and individual residential facilities.
Pump Station 10 Infiltration/Inflow Study and Pump Station Upgrade VEI provided flow monitoring and sewer inspections to determine the condition of the sanitary sewer collection system in the Turnagain area of Anchorage. Services included a complete manhole and sewer inspection and flow monitoring. VEI designed the follow-on improvements to the sewer system, including a new pump station.
VEI was recently awarded a contract for evaluating the condition of AWWU Pump Station 12 near Campbell Lake.
VEI recently completed upgrade work on AWWU Pump Stations 30-31 at Potter Marsh.
